The 3 metre lead in the DashView Pro box reaches the back of a normal car. It does not reach the back of a van, a pickup, a motorhome or a caravan, and it does not give you enough slack to route the cable properly through trim instead of across the floor. This is a straight 15 metre swap.
For longer vehicles
Fifteen metres gives you enough cable to take the rear camera lead up the A pillar, along the headlining and down to the tailgate, the way a fitted install would run it. On a van, a pickup or a motorhome, the standard lead simply will not get there.
